UK beauty retailer, Boots has announced it will add to 25 new beauty brands to its product line-up by the end of the summer.

This coincides with the retailer’s decision to overhaul its stores. Boots has begun renovating and upgrading 170 of its stores with plans to expand the footprint of 30 locations.

Store expansions will allow for new furniture, live demonstration zones, discovery stations, trending areas, and more beauty brands.

New brands coming to Boots include Tree Hut; The Beauty Crop, a skin and body care brand; haircare brand Kurl Kitchen founded by singer Fleur and Keisha East; and Coats a simplified skincare brand.

Alice Rafferty, Director of Luxury Beauty and Cosmetics at Boots, said, “It is such an exciting time to be a beauty lover – the industry is evolving quicker than ever before, with new brands emerging and reaching cult-like status in a matter of weeks.”

This also coincides with the Walgreens Boots Alliance’s plans of a potential initial public offering (IPO) of the chain, the second attempt to divest Boots.
